As a newcomer to python I am trying to implement the github notebook authored by Muhd-Shahid, titled "Building Machine Learning Model to predict whether the cancer is benign or malignant on Breast Cancer Wisconsin Data Set !! Part 3". (https://github.com/Muhd-Shahid/Breast-Cancer-Wisconsin). The author's last response was 4 years ago, which probably explains why I have received no response. I have worked through Parts 1 and 2 notebooks and with the help of "Anaconda Assistant". However Part 3 has me puzzled. I have found instances where X should have appeared for x, but am not able to get past [18] # lets get the % of Cancer Patients.
There appears to be some dereplicated calls. For example "ax = sns.countplot(model_full['diagnosis'])". However the new syntax is not clear to me. I also needed to include "!pip install xgboost". I am most interested in the plots of the Confusion matrix, ROC curves and Precision-recall curve. However my learning curve needs help[ from the experts.
Help with the blue and orange histograms of M and B counts would be helpful. More importantly, the items starting with [73] "Build models" are where I cannot get anything to work.
For reference, I am trying to generate the results in:
https://github.com/Muhd-Shahid/Breast-Cancer-Wisconsin/blob/master/BCW_Model_Building_Evaluation_Part3.ipynb
I am happy to pr5ovide more details if needed.
Thanks,
David
