Hi all,

Is it possible somehow to export the Code Search results in a .csv or other text like format?

The current web html output looks cool and can be handy but sometimes I am struggling to extract only the tiny bits of info that I need. To that extent, a text like output format would help. A related option could be easily added I suppose to click-trigger the export on demand.

Good idea @nlarisis. We've heard similar things from other users. For now, I would suggest using the API, which is now powered by the same backend as the web search (thought the query language is a little different). We're working on a fresh, new API that will support more use cases, like exhaustive results.

Oh that's great news!

I have been experimenting with the current API but I am a bit challenging with the paging (maximum number results per query) aspect.

Looking forward to the new features being rolled-out. Extending the page results of the web GUI (currently only first 5) would also greatly help as other users have mentioned too.
