I am exploring good design layouts for each room, in this post I am focusing on the Scanner Room.
The Goal
Keeping the room as small as possible while keeping the doctor as happy as possible(avoid being unhappy and wanting a pay rise) while optimizing turnaround time for handyman plant watering and patient walk times.
Version 1.00
Items
1x Scanner
1x console
1x Bin
1x Fire extinguisher
1x Plant
2x Radiator
Summary
The idea of the scanner room is to provide a quick access point for the patient to the screen and scanner. In this design the patient walks in and into the screen without any turns, they then walk into the scanner without any turns. The console is also in a good location. There are 2 Radiators (one is behind the scanner) and 1 Fire extinguisher in the middle of the room. Plant is next to the door and so is the bin.
Lets start the decision, can this design be improved and if so how?
