I am exploring good design layouts for each room, in this post I am focusing on the Ultrascan Room.
The Goal
Keeping the room as small as possible while keeping the doctor as happy as possible(avoid being unhappy and wanting a pay rise) while optimizing turnaround time for handyman plant watering and patient walk times.
Version 1.00
Items
1x Ultrascanner
1x Bin
1x Fire extinguisher
1x Plant
1x Radiator
Summary
The Ultrascan Room is a simple room as the main item is the Ultrascanner without any screens or extra items. The key aspect to this room is door walk path to the Ultrascanner. In version 1.00 the door is placed inline of where the patient uses the Ultrascanner so the patient only has to walk 1 tile to the Ultrascanner without turning. Plant is next to the door and so is the bin. Fire extinguisher is near the center of the room and the room uses 1 Radiator.
Lets start the decision, can this design be improved and if so how?
