Hello,

A while ago, I (unsuccessfully) tried modifying this plugin to apply on mic input.
When & if you have time, could you please create a version of this plugin that can be applied on input stream(s), via EasyEffects?

In theory, this should help normalize audio levels if the mic is too far/close.

Hello.

Using it in input should be quite easy. You need to copy the original in ~/.config/easyeffects/input folder, then modify it with a text editor changing only output to input at the 2nd line.

You should view it in presets menu, under the input tab.

Anyway I did it here: LoudnessEqualizer.txt

Just rename it with json extension and copy it in the folder mentioned above.

I wonder why/where I had trouble 😮 ... seems easy enough.
Thank you, will aim to try later today.

Hi. I am no coder and not even sure how to use github properly. Just want to thank digitalone1 a million times for solving the movie dialogue issue via the loudnesseqaulization preset.

I've been using VLC (compressor enabled) on Windows for years (decades actually), but MX Linux (with Pipewire) and Loudeness Equalization preset hands down beats the audio quality on Windows. I say this after almost 25+ years of using PC!

I am never going back to Windows! Thank you so much for creating the LoudnessEqualization preset!

PS: Sorry for putting this comment here because I could not find any other way to thank/appreciate a coder/contributor.
