Opening a running activity with running dynamics from FIT format under v3.6 (both rc3 and latest snapshot), their respective interval averages are all shown nicely with correct units, as well as the curves for Cadence, Ground Contact Time (GCT) and Vertical Oscillation when viewed individually per 'Stack->By Series'. In the default combined plot however all three metrics are shown as extra Watts graphs (in addition to the actual 'Power' record). Also the hover-over label for these (and all other parameters) shows the unit instead of the parameter label, i.e. Watts for all four of those. Likewise the Acceleration is grouped together with Speed as KPH, whereas I find a temperature recording also plotted to the same scale, but then labelled as KPH/ºC.
Obviously this is rather confusing as the 3 running dynamics quantities have all different units, and makes it hard to identify them, especially where GCT or Cadence may have similar numerical values as Power.
As there is only limited room for even more ordinate scales, at least Cadence could be better grouped with heart rate, having the same physical unit, while others could be denoted with multiple units, just as for Speed/Temperature' (e.g. Vertical Oscillation would typically fit in nicely as KPH/cm). And generally it would be very helpful to have the mouseover display the curve title instead of the unit, as it does in the 'By Series' plot mode.

Can be reproduced with the Move_2020_01_15_19_27_16_Running.fit file from tests for Cadence, and with the example file from #2061 for other metrics.

If there are no watts the running dynamics will not be shown either, the problem is the limit on y-axis but some of these effects could be ameliorated, provided some developer is interested enough.
This is not new to v3.6, and the likely reason it has not been reported in 6 years is because the non by series plot is not that useful with all these series anyway. User Data and the new User Chart in v3.6 are alternatives for these.
