Do you, by chance, have "Change case to Title Case" checked in your Output Files settings? That would do what you're complaining about, and has been settable for years. If it is unchecked, the output file name will remain unchanged. The settings for multiple files always reverts to the default settings in effect during setup, so if you want keep "Pass Through", it should be defined as such and saved as default. Audio, however, can change quite drastically between videos, so generally, you would want to check Pass Through for all the audio types under Audio Defaults. |

Description of the feature or enhancement you'd like to see in HandBrake
Hi,
First, thanks to all contributors for such an essential product!
I'd like to suggest:
Don't alter the capitalization of the name: don't change "Series S1-E1-WEB" to "Series S1-E1-Web-1", keep WEB uppercase if it was.
When editing a set of files in a given directory, switching to next file resets the audio mode: I always use "Pass Through", and it's always reset to downgrade, which is a shame for a product dedicated to quality encoding.
The default audio mode should be too "Pass Through", or at least specified as such in an User Preset. So far, the User Presets do not store audio preferences and always lead to downgrade.
