It knows the Rider plugin is out-of-date, it shows a popup to tell you - but the only UI choice is to ignore it.

Why can't there be an "upgrade" button that automatically updates Packages/manifest.json for you?

The Unity UI is tedious.

Might be easy to add another command to open the manifest.json file. Would that help?
