Hi,
I thought I kinda did in the Read Me:

While it is heavily "inspired" by the SCUMM engine, it isn't a true replica (for that you'll want good ol' SCUMM-VM). However, SCUMM-8 attempts to stay as true as possible to the original SCUMM command reference.

...but I suppose you're right - I'm not explicitly stating the difference between the two projects. 🤔

I'll see if I can put a clear, short/one-liner statement covering the differences, as well.
