To clarify, you can escape/resize the screensaver without the screen locking when Aerial is set to lock the screen?

I was not able to reproduce this bug. How were you activating Aerial and did you do anything special to re-size the window?

Is the wait ___ seconds before locking on wakeup after Aerial starts. option in use? That could be preventing the lock.

yes

can be activated by the timer or the keyboard shortcut, in video i use shortcut but it works with timer.

easiest way to reproduce is to put cursor on edge/corner, when it starts click and hold, drag.
sometimes i’m lucky enough to activate it via touchscreen

even after the specified time setting, i can resize and close aerial via task view without locking.

sorry here’s a clearer way to reproduce:

  1. put mouse cursor on edge/corner.
  2. wait for aerial to start or use keyboard shortcut.
  3. once it starts you can click and drag the aerial window, and it will resize
