Poll: Vote for what gets added next!

It started with Amazon Fire devices, and your votes have pushed the project along to add NVIDIA Shield, Xiaomi Mi, Chromecast, Apple TV, Roku, and our latest addition .onn! So I ask you again, what's next?

Since it can be expensive for me to purchase, evaluate, and develop controls for all of the various devices, I've set up an Amazon Wish List (US) and an Amazon Wish List (DE) for any of you who are feeling incredibly generous and want to send me something that I don't already own. If I don't own a device, I will not add it to the Firemote project.

Another vote for Samsung TVs here - I've had 3 different Samsung TVs that all work the same way pretty much - they all are integrated via the Samsung TV integration and all support the same controls as far as remotes go.

There already is an existing LG WebOS HACS integration available...

However...
Even though they're being maintained they currently only have a preconfigured Remote that are basically 1-1 rip of a actual remote.
I like using yours as it's customizable. I only ever use arrowkeys, "Enter" and "back" buttons.

Maybe you can use those as a template

It would be nice to have the skin for TCL Android TVs.
The remote controls for these TVs are all the same.
I have already set up the card and I can control the Android TV.

Would love to see the TiVo Stream 4K added to this. Not that it is the best streaming stick (and just maybe they finally got all the failing stuff fixed?), but I have like 6 of them. Found your project trying to decide the best way to integrate into HA. Could send you an extra if you decide to integrate. Thanks for your support of this project - looks awesome!

Thanks - just installed and figuring out Google TV $K remote. Thanks for the great work you have put into this.
I haven't noticed this being suggested before - Logitech Harmony Elite. I have several and they are one of the best (useful) consumer grade remotes out there used by I'm guessing many thousands of users. Logitech has advised they have stopped any further support of these much to the frustration of users - now all regularly asking what a viable alternative is. This could be a great opportunity for HA users and your system. Please consider..

Broadlink remotes support

I would love to be able to use your fantastic work with Broadlink Universal Remote

Once you have learned all the button's calls, then everything you need is call a service like this:

Samsung works the same as Broadlink:

Could you consider doing one for aircon remotes? I think alot of people have these around the house, especially popular ones like mitsubishi =) Thus far the thermostat cards have been few and not really good loooking, Thanks for your consideration!

Maybe? Is your aircon system already controllable through Home Assistant? Can you provide a few links to what the physical remotes look like? I don't own anything like that, and it doesn't fit this project's theme of "media players", so it would likely have to be a new project outside of Firemote.

Since mini-split A/C units are extremely popular (except in the U.S., where we favor central air and heating), I can see where remote controls become handy. The units are mounted just below ceiling height, so a remote is a necessity. Regarding Firemote, have you had any requests for a DirecTV remote? All of the streaming boxes from AT&T and DirecTV are Android TV boxes (Osprey/Gemini/Gemini Air) and use the same remote. I have one here and it's the greatest thing since sliced bread - because you can input DirecTV channels with a numeric keypad instead of scrolling through the channel guide. It does, of course, do all the other (apps, etc.) Android TV stuff as well.. Just a thought for that day when you get "bored". T

Aren't most a/c remotes infra-red or RF 433mhz? If so, @Minniemie just could use in infra-red device like a Broadlink RM-3 (IR) or a Broadlink RM4 (IR and RF 433) or perhaps a Sonoff RF Bridge (433mhz only) and create whatever kind of card they desire using the Broadlink integration/add-on. Just thinking out loud... T

Yep thats what I did. Just a sugegstion because the dashboard cards out there for ac remotes aarent as good look as the firemote card =)
