Is your feature request related to a problem?

I found when I tried to create my own build, or I imported some builds from external pob build sites, that the damage numbers and some stats are not correct, because the Configuration tab is empty. I also feel like it is not uncommon to not wanting to learn every single possible configuration setting by heart me being a rookie in this POE world with my 1,3k hours of gametime.

It feels wrong, that I cannot fully admire a build in PoB, because the Configuration tab is still on default settings. This might be because they are not included in the imported data for some reason. Why and how should a begginer realize that the build uses a Timeless Jewel that modified one of their already taken passives into "#% chance to gain an Endurance Charge on Kill", or maybe they don't even know that Frenzy Charges from the Skill Gem "Frenzy" exist.

If we got this strong of a tool like PoB, then why couldn't this calculator find, or - well - calculate it from existing data? There are tons and tons of calculations that are already going on in this huge project and I think these already made calculations could also benefit the implementation of the:

"Configuration Generator"

TLDR: I don't know what I need to click out of these probably like 200+ Configuration options, I would like a way to generate the "highest normally possible" configuration options based on the items, flasks, etc. the build is currently equipping just like using Include in FULL DPS on the skills tab, OR at least the ability to load a "this one always works" preset. -explained in more details in the other sections below.

Describe the solution you'd like

Configuration Generator

On the top of the Configuration tab, there is a new section with a "Configuration Generator" Label, a (generation)Combo Box and a "Generate" Button (in a new section above the search bar)

Configuration Generator would

  1. Check the Current build's currently selected
  • Passives,
  • Items,
  • Flasks,
  • Jewels,
  • Skills and
  • Abilities, etc... anything
  1. for ways to set the parameters of the Configuration tab accordingly.
  • Do you ever get Onslaught?
  • Can you or your minions gain charges? How many max?
  • Are you Ignited?
  • Is the enemy Blinded? etc..
  1. There would be 2 aspects of generation:
  • "Mapping" (multiple targets)
  • "Bossing" (few or single targets)

Mapping way of generation would consider mods that are more likely to happen with multiple packs of mobs,
Bossing would mostly select options that are relatively possible during your avarage bossfight.

(A way for managing multiple presets would be the cherry on top)

Describe alternatives you've considered

Additional context

I was browsing through previous issues about the topic, and found some that I would like to call out as some honorable mentions that could also partially resolve the whole problem I started this request about. However obviously the calculator would be much more lovely.

Configuration Tab Multiple Presets - Specifically for Bossing vs Mapping calculations.

Basically if I could have my own Presets that I could Save/Load/Import/Export/Manage like in the picture below or like people mentioned it in the issues, my issue would be somewhat solved.

You cannot add specific number of charges to minions.

I also found another small problem (this should be a new issue, sry...), that you cannot add specific number of charges to minions.

I am using PoB Community Fork Version: 2.42.0, when I am compiling this issue.
