Read the README.

I did read it... it didn't help. Consider I am dummy and please advice. This is a supported version for rootmytv but it doesn't work.

This is a supported version for rootmytv

Where did you get that from?

RootMyTV never worked on webOS versions prior to 3.4.0 or newer than 6.2.x.

Note: this versioning refers to the "webOS TV Version" field in the settings menu, not the "Software Version" field.

Hey everyone,

i have the same issue like @sk9972252270 but a different TV Model

Error Text: "Denied method call"download"for category"^""

LG Model: OLED65C98LB
WebOS TV Version: 4.9.7-17 (goldilocks2-gyoen)
Software Version: 5.30.40

@sk9972252270 did you get a success to install the root access on your TV?

@throwaway96 what do you mean by "Try this one"? Your link is calling the my ReadMe of your RootmyTv project. Can you tell us more!?

There is not much I can say that is not already in the readme. Read at least the first few sections. Make sure it's the the latest version.

If any part of it is unclear, please let me know. I want to make sure it is accessible to everyone, including non-native English speakers.
