sap.m.ComboBox does not allow user to type in the whole word, instead it jumps to the second letter you typed

Steps to reproduce the problem:

1. Enter a letter in ComboBox on iOS - B
2. Enter the second letter - u

What is the expected result?
Both letter 'B' and 'u' stays in the ComboBox

What happens instead?
The first entered text 'B' is removed once the second letter 'u' is entered
