Is your feature request related to a problem? Please describe.
Yes, the current limitation of only sending text messages in threads hampers the full chat experience. Users often need to share files or more complex messages that include media or documents, mirroring real-world communication platforms.

Describe the solution you'd like
I propose adding functionalities for file and message uploads within individual messages. This would allow users to share documents, images, and other media types directly in their conversations, enhancing interaction and collaboration.

Describe alternatives you've considered
N/A - The focus remains on enriching the messaging experience by introducing file and message upload capabilities directly within the chat interface.

Additional context
Incorporating these features would significantly improve user experience by making the platform more versatile and reflective of standard chat applications, facilitating a broader range of communication and collaboration possibilities.

Thanks for the feedback and it's really a useful feature.
It seems a feasible design is to create a retrieval collection (powered by vector storage) bound to the chat thread, then add everything the user uploads as records to this collection. Please let me know if this would suit your use case.
