Can't select search button with controller (Nintendo Switch)

Steps to reproduce the bug

1. Connect controller to device.
2. Open NewPipe
3. Cannot select search button with controller.

Expected behavior

To be able to select search button.

Actual behavior

Can select most of the ui elements except for the search button.

Additional information

I am using this on lineage for nintendo switch. but i imagine this is probably the same as just connecting a controller to an android tablet / phone. The point of this issue is that this basically makes the app unusable on tv.
