Hello. I have multiple questions here.

  1. It looks to me that the adding of new blogs to the list became incredibly slow and difficult. It literally takes days!!! It is slow either if you copy a list of blogs from the text file or you add blogs manually one by one through the clipboard. Blogs are being added, but the number of pictures inside sometimes does not show at all. Or the blog itself is not showing up at all. And after the restart of the program you need to add the blog again since it disappears.

  2. Also once the process of adding new blogs from the list is going on, as slowly as it goes, program itself almost does not react to anything and do not do the downloads at the same time with normal speed or at all. More to that if you are trying to sort the added blogs by different column, while it is still being added, an error shows up and the option of reordering the way it looks by clicking on the column no longer works.

  3. Also in the details - it used to be possible to change multiple blogs crawler all at once from one to another one. Now it has to be done separately one by one. If you have a lot of blogs - it takes forever. Is it possible to return to the previous option of multiple blogs change?

  4. Identification is still not working properly and disappears all the time after short period of time.

I am not sure if this is a bug /bugs or something is not working with Tumblr itself.

Thank you in advance

Hello,
what type of blogs do you use?

  1. Once successfully added the blogs should remain, even after restart of the program.

  2. The import blog list button/process is a heavy work one and not much other things should be executed awhile.

  3. We've to look into that one.

  4. That's a known problem. As long as you can still download respective blogs you shouldn't reopen the settings dialog just to reassure yourself it still shows the info.

Thank you for your answer.

I also want to add
5. That once you start adding blogs to the list - the first one to add will never show how many pictures in there. The rest will do. If you take this one away from the list and add it again - it will show it.

  1. I want to rearrange the columns for more convenient usage for me. Like which column goes more to the left and which one will be on the right and etc. Every time I end and then start the application - it forgets my last way of doing it and makes it the way it wants. Maybe a "commit" or "save" function for order of things can be added?

As for number 4 - point is that I cannot download any private blogs without authorisation, but I guess this cannot be fixed now due to internal Tumblr problems.

  1. Are you adding them one by one, with import blog list or check clipboard? Can you move a working blog to the start of your "list" and check if the first one still fails to show the number?
  2. That should work without a problem. Please make sure that neither the folder (%LOCALAPPDATA%\TumblThree\Settings) nor the settings.json are write protected by permissions or read-only attribute.

I use check clipboard most of the time. And it is always the first blog in the list. I can put the non working blog as the last one and it will be added no problem, but then another one which would happen to be first will not show the number. So in other words this is not about some particular blog, but rather which one is being added as a first one. If you delete the blog without the number and add it later - everything is showing up fine.

As of these file and folder that you showed me - let me try today and see if this will work the way it is supposed to.

Thank you for your time
Alex
