Hi ! Thanks a lot for the port. I'm currently using it as AppImage (v5.30.100) on Linux Mint XFCE and everything seems to be working perfectly fine except for the PLAY/PAUSE // PREVIOUS // NEXT systray controls - they do nothing at all. On the other hand, OPEN when minimized and QUIT controls are perfectly working.
Not a big deal but I thought it was maybe worthy to be reported.

Thanks for opening the issue!
I noticed this too with the rpm image on fedora, the MPRIS work perfectly, but the systray controls are not... Weirdly, they work well in flatpak.

I will try to patch this (if I find a way to do it), but I don't know how systray works actually, so will need to investigate!

On Ubuntu I'm not seeing anything in the systray with the flatpak, but the media keys work great. When I tried with the deb and the snap they both had the systray with non-working buttons. Seems that the systray prevents the media keys from working as well.

I can confirm this on Ubuntu 20.04 LTS using .deb. The systray icon is shown (when installing a systray shell extension), but the play/pause/next/etc in the systray entry do not respond.

Can someone test with flatpak, and tell me if it is working?

Systray is now working with flatpak for me.
