Create EKS Optimized AMI for Ubuntu 24.04

Which service(s) is this request for?
EKS

Tell us about the problem you're trying to solve. What are you trying to do, and why is it hard?
To take advantage from all new kernel and packages by Ubuntu 24.04. It might be preferred to have that early, and not to wait until 26.04 is near to create 24.04 images.

EKS does not maintain Ubuntu AMIs. This would be a feature request you need to make to Canonical.
