You have said recently in these issues that caret is essentially abandoned in favor of your new tool.
I believe you said this decision was made because caret is fundamentally broken in some parts of its design. I would be curious to at least look at the sourcecode and I'm sure many people, myself included, wouldn't mind taking a stab at fixing some of the more experience destroying bugs.

Obviously i understand if that would end up being in conflict with your goals with this new software, but i thought it couldn't hurt to at least ask.

That's an interesting idea! We'll consider it, but we need to focus on the new app for now.
