was looking on the site to see jailbreak status for other devices such as appletv, apple watch, etc, main site only shows devices running iOS like iphone/ipad.

I have considered doing this, I think it might complicate the layout of the site a little though.

One option here would be to have a more interactive process, e.g. like on ipsw.me, where the user selects their device type and version. I've even considered integrating directly into ipsw.me

This would mean a large increase in the data which had to be managed as well. I welcome any additions/PRs by anyone to this site (but i'm a little busy the next few months!)

Honestly the Selection process of ipsw.me isn't bad for the simple reason is you CANNOT get the wrong information based on what you choose.

also another option would be to add a yes/no jailbreakstatus to ipsw.me besides the check on if apple is still signing that FW ver. or vice versa

yeah, the data has to come from somewhere though. Currently the jailbreaks.json file here is very crude, so that would need to be updated. Adding the small checkbox to ipsw.me after that would be simple (though I like the separation of ipsw.me/canijailbreak.com for the most part)

One of the main reasons i've not been motivated to do this is that most jailbreaks do apply to iPhone/iPads and don't ever to Apple Watch / AppleTV, just based from historical reasons. Also, generally people who wish to jailbreak AppleTV have more experience anyway, and would probably follow the various iPhoneWiki links on the site

yeah I was actually checking the iPhoneWiki link i found on ipsw.me, and came to this git and saw the "a website which tells you whether you can jailbreak your iPhone, iPad, iPod touch or Apple TV. https://canijailbreak.com" description but couldnt find any info about AppleTV/AppleWatch, so I opened this.

I know Iphone/Ipad/Ipod share the same iOS software versions, and if there's a jailbreak for 1 version might be pliable to another device on the same version.

But essentially it would be nice to have a easy way to check the jailbreak status of other apple devices, without having to read through the iPhoneWiki.
