It's much too hard to contribute to codename1, and I think a major reason is that it's very scary
for you to accept changes, and very time consuming for you to do due testing to make it less scary.
Perhaps if you adopted a "stable release" policy, and started a permanent "development" branch,
you could accept PRs for the development branch more easily, and then age PRs into the stable
branch after they have shaken out for a while.
In order for this to work, the stable branch would have to remain the default, and there would be simple
switch that could be thrown to change builds from the stable to the development branch.
