Missing check of returned pointer

I was looking at the code to resolve an issue I was having and happened to come across the code at

librdkafka/src/rdkafka_broker.c

Line 4785 in 95a542c

rkb = rd_calloc(1, sizeof(*rkb));

Shouldn't it check that the returned pointer is not null before using it?
