Feature request
Hello,
Often, text editors (that support markdown) treat markdown tags (*, _, `, etc.) as brackets/quotes, which means they (1) insert the closing tag after entering the starting tag, (2) tags are automatically inserted around a selected text when pressing the appropriate tag key.
I think this is the most logical behavior for markdown tags (the ones that need a closing tag, of course), as they very much work like quotes.

Solution
Include the relevant tags of markdown syntax in the "Automatically insert closing brackets and quotes" option when using markdown syntax, because this feature exactly covers the two behaviors mentioned above.

Alternative
This can also be a separate option from the one mentioned above. Overall, what I mean is that the desired behavior for markdown tags should be the same as the behavior of quotes when using the "Automatically insert closing brackets and quotes" option, whether it is included in this option or in another one.

Thank you very much for this nice, light and free editor!

Thank you for the feedback. I feel this feature request is reasonable but need to extend the current syntax highlight definition format. Let me think.
