Hi i found a issue which is related to Ubuntu 12.04. If you build a RAID1 SATA at a Dell s5400sf Ubuntu does not install cause it does not recognize the controller properly. I had a discussion with the Ubuntu Stuff cause this controller runs fine until Ubuntu 10.04 launches. I remember that i set up the RAID with 9.04 on ext2. After this procedure the 10.04 installer uses the raid proparly and installs.
However cause it the s5400sf is a Dell Server there should be a workaround for Dell customers to have a full HA environment for Crowbar Server. One would be configuring mdadm or the other adding the controller driver to the Crowbar install DVD.
I will test later the s5400sf as Openstack Controller and Node. I hope that the Raid is setup correct by crowbar.
