Just used this for offline mode. Does this work with normal competitive matchmaking?

Every cheat that becomes public does eventually gets detected by VAC. There's no doubt you will get banned in competitive matchmaking. Please note that VAC bans are delayed, if you want to try it on an alt, it can take up to 3 months to get officially banned (from my experience).
