The latency attribute supports only milliseconds. However, the upstream maintainer of tcconfig has implemented support for multiple time units recently. It would be great to support those extra time units. It needs caution though as that feature introduces new changes on the calculation of the latency since it requires proper time unit conversions to calculate the final latency.
