edgedb error: ClientConnectionFailedError: failed to lookup address information: Name does not resolve

• OS Version: Arch Linux x86_64

Steps to Reproduce:

1. Run this command edgedb query 'select sys::get_version_as_str()'

Schema:

[007qr]

I solved this issue by adding "host": "127.0.0.1" in this json file ~/.config/edgedb/credentials/{project}.json but don't know why this happened in the first place.
