Hi,
I have just set up a new rf bridge with the portisch software because I want to incorporate a wireless doorbell into Home Assistant.
I initially flashed esphome directly onto the device but apparently the doorbell does not communicate using a recognised format. I just finished flashing tasmota and then the portisch upgrade. The device seems to work OK as it still detects "normal" codes, like it did before the Portisch upgrade.
I cannot get the device to bucket sniff. In the ESPHome editor the "- rf_bridge.start_bucket_sniffing" command causes the error "expected a dictionary".
Other advanced commands like " - rf_bridge.start_advanced_sniffing" seem to work in the editor because I can save and upload the config file. The device reports that the advanced_sniffing worked, but does not seem to recognise the doorbell format either. That is why I would like to bucket sniff.
I am running ESPHome version 1.18.0 and installed portisch using RF-Bridge-EFM8BB1-20190220.hex. I updated Home Assistant core and operating system a few days ago, but see now that more updates are available.
Any suggestions on using the device to monitor and send raw codes?
