I would like to access the measured value on a pin and use that in a lambda (or scripted math) do create a virtual sensor. I.e. min/max threshold -> 0-100%
My project is a tank water level sensor. This already works fine using an AVR processor and some code to charge/discharge a pin connected to a strip of copper taped to the side of the tank. I could certainly just pump raw data from my AVR into my ESP board as serial data and will be doing that soon, however. How cool would it be to have it all native to the esphome environment?
Is it possible to access the measured value from a lambda?
