it would also be very interesting. So far the only options are to rip the code from Marlin or Fluidnc |

Hi,
i have a projet to use a MKS DLC32 board ( https://github.com/makerbase-mks/MKS-DLC32/tree/main ) with a4988 drivers to control peristaltic pumps equipped with stepper motor.
Of course i want to use ESPhome to control and automate the dosing pumps.
The DLC32 board use the I2S engine in the ESP32 to control the shift register 74AHCT595 with high speed and synchonicity to send command to the a4988 stepper driver.
Is there a way to use the I2SO ( output on I2S ) to control A4988 stepper driver with ESPhome ?
some informations on I2SO :
http://wiki.fluidnc.com/hardware/controller_design_guidelines#IS2O_Chips
http://wiki.fluidnc.com/config/axes#stepping_engine
i found a code from ESP IDF, maybe it can help ?

thank you
regards,
Christophe
