Wifi with Sonoff SV

Hi
Having wifi connection issue. Keeps scanning for Wifi. USB connection show scanning for Wifi then trying to connect. Keeps looping Device shows being connected DHCP with address being added to router DHCP table. Also will not connect via OTA. Thought it was hardware so I flashed Tasmota and it works. But don't want to use MQTT. Any ideas?

Used following to as simple test yaml.
