CORS Error - 500 Internal Error

So I've tested the paypal integration locally and all seems well. I deployed it to the cloud but I get a 500 Internal Error when checking out. I can see the error is caused by my CORS policy, I get a 401 but the order is placed nonetheless and the cart is cleared.

The checkout button continues loading until a refresh.
