How to run example directory?

I followed the steps below, but couldn't run the exmaple directory in this repo.

cd examples
npm install
tsc

But this gives me an error. What are the steps to run the example?

The easiest is probably to copy/paste the content of one-file-example.ts to a typescript playground: Link

Adding lib: "es2015" fixed the compile issues.
