From Aug 2020, few review and releases have done. Is this project abandoned?

python-hug depends on python-falcon == 2.0.0 which is not the current release and seems to be abandoned upstream: hugapi/hug#897
let's remove it for now as the package is broken

In #918 I addressed some issues that prevented the use of this library on modern Python version (>= 3.10)

@timothycrosley Vanished leaving a whole bunch of packages unmaintained, one of them being the https://github.com/timothycrosley/streamdeck-ui which I have forked and now maintain as a community effrot, however it depends on a whole bunch of packages that he was responsible for. this apparently being also one of them.

Is there anyone active on this project? I see that @underrun was the last one accepting a pull request and seems still quite active.

@underrun can you provide any comments about this?

Unfortunately due to #894 this project appears to be now totally abandoned. #918 isn't sufficient-- For example, there are no conda builds for Python 3.11+ for falcon 2.x.

If that's the case, I recommend updating the README.md and warning it's users.

To update the README someone needs to be able to accept pull requests which there seems to be no one :D

I just checked @timothycrosley's contribution activity. The latest commit was on February 16th.

I wonder what @timothycrosley thinks about this.

Ohh that is interesting .. it was indeed less than 24h ago ...
but the first thing you do after so long time away is to just create another repo with only MIT license on it? 🤔

not sure what to think of it .... let's hope Timothy is well and emerges with some news.
