Windows - using alass selecting video+subs and right click #37

That in the title is my target.

I'm faimiliar with adding items to the right click menu in WIndows and associating command to it, but was wondering if there's any viable way to call alass the way described in the subject.

Here a version of DIY but working (over UNC paths)

alass_context_menu.zip

Precondition C:\Program Files\Alass exists and alass for windows is installed in such folder.

then:

  • .reg is to be imported in the registry
  • here.bat needs to go under C:\Program Files\Alass

USAGE:

  • with no files selected right click in the folder where .srt and video file (.avi, mkv, wmv, mp4, mpeg, m4v' supported) live.
  • Select Alass.

NOTE: The batch will pause (until new input) before exiting you might or might not want to edit the here.bat to quote the pause command with a prepending REM
