right swipe not working

seen on mac
when swiping right on slider (backwards, first example on landing page) this either does not react or does a swipe in the wrong direction.
either automatic direction detection is wrong or it is actually using the history back way (this would be specific to mac as “swipe backwards results in a history back”)
