Want to start an issue detailing creating support for Linux based operating systems! I'll see what I can do over the next week or so to help creating a working version for Linux! 馃榿

Hey @hsoj95, thanks for the issue, I'll love to review your PR! :D

I think a good starting point is checking if brightness package works on your distro, I guess you can use https://github.com/kevva/brightness-cli to do so. Also, I believe that menubar does work on it so it shouldn't be hard to get it running.
