How to append new storage drive to existing one?

I have storage issue on existing SSD and want to connect new beside existing.

It's possible to just extend storage by this way, without moving all the data to new drive (just "append" new indexes there)?

# /etc/manticoresearch/manticore.conf

    data_dir = /var/lib/manticore
    append_data_dir = /drive2/var/lib/manticore # something like that
}

Not like this, but you can create symlinks for some of your table directories or you can create an LVM partition combining existing partitions on different drives.
