My team and I are trying to implement a multi-step registration process in Mastodon. Instead of only confirming your email, we also want the user to confirm their phone number and enable 2FA. Our problem right now is that whenever the email is confirmed, it automatically redirects to the home page and gives the user full access to the platform. Would anyone have any ideas on how to disable/delay the email confirmation behavior, redirect the user to a confirm phone/enable 2FA page, and disable user access until all steps have been completed instead? I would be happy to provide more details if needed, but thank you!
