Mtgpy

A Python tool for looking up Magic: The Gathering cards, using the Scryfall API.

Installation

Clone or download this repository. Unzip if necessary.
Then in a terminal (or Command Prompt) window which is in the folder where the app files are, run python setup.py install.
The app should install. From there you can run: mtg <card-name> from any terminal to look up cards.

  • Mtgpy is not affiliated with or endorsed by Scryfall.
  • Mtgpy is unofficial Fan Content permitted under the Fan Content Policy. Not approved/endorsed by Wizards. Portions of the materials used are property of Wizards of the Coast. ©Wizards of the Coast LLC.
