Needs archive.is support, one of the tabs should be the archive.is version of the article. I'm setting a bounty of $25.

For getting the page: Use "https://archive.today/?run=1&url="+encodeURIComponent(url) and throw in window time-out to get the page.
But if you are talking about article extraction, what does SMRY use normally? For archived page there is probably a 1-to-1 relationship to the original
