Hi!
I tried compiling TIC-80 on a M1 Mac Mini, and had no trouble at all, the generated file is a native apple silicon binary, so i wanted to ask why on the release page there is only the intel one that runs trough Rosetta 2?
And also i wanted to ask if there is some small changes to remove black borders, this is "crucial" when playing games for small screen devices like Anbernic consoles, powkiddy etc.
I found this old issue explaining how to remove them #1279 but code did change a lot since then and while i tried messing around on my own i had success only in making the borders way thinnier but still present.
While i perfectly understand that it's a choice by design (and i really like it! Being that TIC-80 calls itself a Fantasy Computer instahead of a fantasy console, it does a great job resembling the old look and feels of OS like GS/OS which had borders too), still would be amazing to have some option inside TIC-80 to remove them, something like the integerscaling that we already have a sort of "stretch: on/off" or "remove bars keep aspect ratio: on/off".
Also in the meanwhile, is there anyone who can help me adapt the old code snippet for calcTextureRect() to his actual version to try and compile a "temporary" version without borders on my own?
I love fantasy console/computer and after tried every ones (including sadly discontinued ones like LIKO-12, PQ93 and the amazing Pixel Vision 8), i keep coming back to TIC-80 to me it just feels better, is tools are amazing and the workflow is even smoother than the ones of PICO-8 especially for the music tracker.
I hope that the project will long live and wanted to say thanks to all the contributors and @nesbox for this amazing piece of software!
