How to filter out review requests from codeowner groups?

I've ended up a member of a group attached as codeowners for a particular directory in our codebase. This means I get a large number of PR review requests. They all appear on the "review requested" page with no filtering. How can I filter this page so it only shows the PRs I've been directly requested on? Ideally there'd be a toggle button so we can quickly see the different categories of request.

That is the section, where you get review request so it is direct as per sense.

@Anmol-Baranwal the section shows both direct requests (where someone has explicitly chosen my username as a reviewer) and indirect ones (where I'm a member of a codeowners-file group, so have been automatically included, not explicitly chosen).

To filter the "review requested" page in GitHub to only show PRs you've been directly requested on, you can use the following steps:

1. Go to the "review requested" page in your GitHub account.
2. In the search bar, type review-requested:@Yourusername, where @Yourusername is your GitHub username.
3. Press enter to execute the search. This will filter the PRs to only show the ones you've been directly requested on.

If you want to quickly toggle between the different categories of review requests, you can save the search query as a bookmark or use a browser extension like OctoLinker to create custom filters.

@Anmol-Baranwal just wanted to let you know that I tried this with my username at https://github.com/pulls?q=review-requested%3Ajavanag+, however it still seems like requests for my team are still showing up in this list, so it isn't working for me.

Maybe the way GitHub implements team reviews is that under the hood it just requests everyone directly (even though on the PR view itself it doesn't appear to be the case), and that is why they are unable to easily make this change.

Hi @Anmol-Baranwal, sorry I had some time off and a lot of other priorities too. Anyway I can confirm as @javanag says, this doesn't work. The default filter when you go to the "review requests" tab on that page is already set like you suggest with one's own username explicitly there, but it still shows reviews where you are only tangentially requested as part of a codeowners group.

This can be achieved by user-review-requested:@me instead of review-requested:@me

I know have a different problem. I am part of multiple codeowners. I want to see review-requested for a specific codeowner group. Not sure if this is doable
