  • switch from QWERTY to DVORAK
  • alt+cmd+actual letter 'y' on keyboard continues to operate the shortcut, rather than the new DVORAK key for 'y', which is 't' on the keyboard.

well I use ShortcutRecorder library for hot keys.
it seems to be a known issue, someone else reported this in Kentzo/ShortcutRecorder#138
have you tried opening up the preferences setting and recording a new hot key with your new layout?

thanks for the info!
Good to know, but this then wouldn't work for when I switch back to a regular layout again, and might end up somewhere even more confusing :S Not sure why global hotkeys remain stuck to the correct key for all other apps...
