Brooklyn does not run properly on macOS Sonoma 14.1. It displays normally at first, but after a while, the lock screen interface displays a black background without icons, and the screensaver preview interface also displays a black background without icons;
Each time the system needs to be restarted to get back to normal.

Computer model: macbookpro M2
System version: macOS Sonoma 14.1
Brooklyn version:2.1.0

Hope it can be fixed, thank you.

Same - it's my fave screensaver and 14.1 broke it :(

Hope it's an easy fix for @pedrommcarrasco

Hi, when you compile it new, you can get it running in sonoma on Apple Silicon Architecture without problem.

I should have tried this first... 😅

Thanks this fixed it

I'm on multiple Intel machines running 14.1.1. I didn't think to try that but I will now to see if that fixes it?

Recompiling in Xcode for 10.14 worked - thanks for the idea guys!

@pedrommcarrasco - a quick code recompile will fix the binary to run on current OSes - thanks again!

Re-compiling did not fix it for me. I just get a black screen when I try to run Brooklyn on 14.1.1 on my Intel MBP. I did ensure that it was compiling a UB (that got me the first time - I'm compiling on a Mac Studio, so it kept wanting to compile an ARM-only binary).

No idea what to do to fix this, but I miss my Apple logos! Can someone point me in the right direction, or update the releases here to a version that works in Sonoma?

yeh I spoke too soon - it worked fine for a few days on 2 different Intel Macs but now it won't startup even after a reboot.

I'm not an Xcode specialist so I may send the code to a friend of mine to figure out what is going on

Could someone kindly tell me how to "re-compile" on my M1 macbook?
I have had the same issue and am willing to try the solutions above but don't know how to
