facing CORS error when hosting via docker but not with the binary on host system

I'm using cloudflare tunnels to expose my pocketbase instance over internet.

I have the following Dockerfile

and this docker-compose.yaml

my application running on localhost fails with CORS error while the same request on the same application works fine, the only change being pocketbase now runs via the binary on the host system.

I don't understand the above but by default PocketBase allows all origins (*) and most likely your CORS issue is caused by something else (eg. misconfiguration in your Cloudflare tunnels setup).

Note that you can also get CORS error in case of 404, aka. when your PocketBase server is not accessible, so double check whether you are providing the correct url when initializing the SDK.

Yep, I'm sure the tunnel setup is working fine. When I stop pocketbase container and run it using binary like so:

./pocketbase serve --http=0.0.0.0:8080

the same exact code works just fine. The request that fails with CORS error, when done from outside my application also succeeds in both docker and standalone server case.

I ended up hosting it on the host machine than on docker
