[BUG] the deployment resourceVersion version is set to "" -metadata.resourceVersion is required for update #45399

Rancher Server Setup

  • Rancher version: v2.7.6
  • Installation option (Docker install/Helm Chart):

  • What is the role of the user logged in? (Admin/Cluster Owner/Cluster Member/Project Owner/Project Member/Custom)

Describe the bug

When updating deployment and setting resourceVersion to "', the following error is reported:metadata.resourceVersion is required for update。There is no proble using kubectl edit。
