Whenever there is a change in the sound output device - e.g. headphones are connected to the phone or disconnected from it, sound playback stops until the complete restart of the game app . Switching to the original playback device won't help. The issue is present both on renpy 7.7.1 and 8.2.1 which are current latest stable versions. Did not test nightly builds.

I think this is a SDL problem, there is a commit to fix it libsdl-org/SDL@f1b1090, but Ren'Py is using SDL 2.20.0, I don't know if this commit can be backported for that version.
