While this program is amazing for creating HEICs!
...it would be a nice feature to be able to open an existing dynamic HEIC file and change its properties (e.g. Azimuth, Altitude, which image is set to be the thumbnail, etc...)

Seconded! I'd gladly help but sadly I'm not well-versed with Swift.
If this were to be implemented, I'd be happy to pay to use this app, it'd have everything I need
